A Provisional booking will be held for 14 days or longer at the Managers discretion, after which time a letter of confirmation together with a deposit of £400.00 is required. The deposit is non- refundable in the event of a cancellation. The letter of confirmation should also state you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

You will receive a confirmation of the facilities we are reserving for you and we would be grateful if you could confirm these as being correct. You should let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel the arrangements or substantially reduce numbers.

A pro-forma invoice for an estimated 50% of the bill will be forwarded to you and should be settled 28 days prior to the Wedding. The remaining final invoice will be sent 10 days prior to the wedding and should be settled immediately. Children under 12 years of age are charged 50% of the adult rate, Children under the age of 2 are free for up to the first four children, thereafter they will be charged at 50% of the adult rate.

Should the wedding be cancelled for any reason the following cancellation policy will apply:

  • 4-8 months 25% of estimated income
  • 2-4 months 50% of estimated income
  • Less than 2 months 75% of estimated income

We recommend that insurance is taken out by you to cover your costs in the event of cancellation.

Final numbers are required two weeks prior to the wedding to allow for ordering / staffing. Your final invoice will be based on these numbers. The Table plan is also required at this stage to ensure time for typing and layout.

In the event that a particular room is promised as a venue based on provisional numbers given at the time of booking, should numbers reduce or increase considerable we reserve the right to discuss with you a change of venue so that the room booked is suitable for the numbers required.

Prices quoted are subject to change and not guaranteed until your reservation is confirmed by a non- refundable deposit.

You accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member for your party to the hotel or hotel equipment. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid to the hotel at the time of the function. Any electrical equipment, brought onto the hotels’ premises by your entertainers or yourselves must be certified safe according to P.A.T. standards by a qualified test provider.

Please also note we cannot allow any fireworks on the premises or within the immediate vicinity.
